LOCATION FEATURES

• Conveniently near the very small town of Dolores (3 miles), yet still very secluded.

• Nearby (within 50 miles) many ski resorts, national monuments, and picturesque recreational areas.


Since we are proudly and deliberately an off-the-grid community, there are no municipal power, sewer, telephone land lines, water, cable or internet services at the Hidden Meadows site. However, we can report that we consistently receive excellent and very reliable cellular phone/data signals all over the property site — good enough to listen to streaming internet radio and watch internet videos and movies. The cellular signal is especially strong at the higher elevations. And we are fairly confident that a good television antenna or radio amplifying antenna, or even a satellite dish, would work perfectly well on site, should you choose to install them. 

We believe very deeply in this project and the viability of a community of like-minded, fully self-sufficient, completely off-the-grid families. The model cabin on display on our website and in our promotional literature is our very own personal homestead on the property.
